What finish do you want?

Choosing between styling products is not a question of brand but of finish: decide what the result should look like, and the product type follows. Eight finishes below, each with the AGIVA products that produce it.

Hold and finish are always stated in the product name — Strong, Matte, Aqua, Spider — so once you know what you are after, you can recognise it in the catalogue too.

A matte, natural finish

A matte paste does not shine, so the hair reads as styled rather than product-heavy. Look for Matte in the product name.

A shiny, wet look

Water-based (Aqua) waxes give a glossy, freshly combed finish and wash out with an ordinary shampoo.

Stringy, textured hair

Spider waxes are stringy in consistency, so they separate strands — that is what gives the textured, tidily messy look.

Volume in fine hair

Powder builds mass near the roots without weight. It needs very little product and works on dry hair.

All-day, extra strong hold

Ultra and Mega Strong are the strongest grades — for thick or long hair and pronounced shapes.

Colour for one day

Colour waxes style and tint at the same time, until the next wash. Eight shades.

A classic combed style

Pomade gives a combable, glossy hold — for slicked-back and side-parted styles.

Firm fixing that lasts

Gel fixes harder and longer than wax and gives a wet shine. For restyling during the day, wax is the better choice.
